The great news about the gospel is that Jesus came to bring us forgiveness and freedom! Freedom ministry helps us break away from false thinking, emotional wounds, and bondage to sins that restrain the life Jesus intended for us. Jesus included freedom as one of the main reasons for coming to this earth. In Luke 4:18-19, he explained his purpose: “The Spirit of the Lord is on me, because he has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim freedom for the prisoners and recovery of sight to the blind, to set the oppressed free, to proclaim the year of the Lord’s favor.” Get Free serves as the foundational starting place for any follower of Jesus to begin experiencing more of the freedom that Jesus promises. This eight-week class includes biblical teaching, worship, and small group discussion. Participants will learn about the Kingdom of God, our identity in Christ, the process of life change, and voice of God.
