At Northwoods, child blessings are a way for you as parents to seek God’s blessing while making a public commitment to raise your children according to His plan. However, child blessings cannot impart grace or salvation to your child. Salvation only comes through Jesus Christ, as each person recognizes his or her sinfulness and receives forgiveness and eternal life through Jesus Christ as their personal Lord and Savior. Blessings are meant for children under the age of 12. If your child is older, please consider our next baptism opportunity for anyone over the age of 12.
