The Stage Manager is the eyes and ears backstage that provides support and bridges communication between the weekend production teams and those who will be on the platform.

Requirements/Provided Training:

• Availability to handle requests during pre-service rehearsals and the services
• Become the “eyes and ears” for the producer backstage and in the green room
• Ability to anticipate problems and offer solutions
• Patience, a sense of humor, and a “go with the flow” attitude
• Training will be conducted during weekend rehearsals and services by an experienced stage manager
• We will ask you complete a background check before serving

The best way to understand the role and responsibilities of the stage manager is to spend a weekend shadowing a stage manager. It would be best to set aside time for all weekend rehearsals and services. This time would be from 7:30AM to 12:30 PM on Sunday.
